James Beard Award Winning Chef Michael Schlow first opened Alta Strada in Wellesley, Massachusetts, in 2005. With a lifetime of cooking and a true love for Italian food, Michael called this his “dream restaurant” -a small intimate place where he and the restaurant staff could create simple, honest, delicious food, have a killer wine list with all their favorites, and be able to provide the type of sincere and enlightened service that would allow them to truly connect with their guests.
